I'm not a fan of automatics whatsoever I despise them. Unfortunately my car is one an I'm trying to find information on what's the best way to convert it over to a manual. Mainly looking for installation tips and what to look for while finding the right transmission. I'm new on here an don't have a lot of experience with this car at all!! The transmission seems to be slipping or lagging to shift. It now has a MAF sensor issue that is causing an extra lag in power. Before the MAF sensor went out I could roll the throttle open to full an it'd lag out then shift and go. My car still has a stock N/A engine. All the fluids are within factory specifications. So I'm not sure what's causing the transmission to not shift properly due it's not throwing any codes. So I want to do away with the junk automatic transmission.
