zoltiz SC Dyno Fund

Let's see if it works...

Looks like I found a dyno shop in relative proximity to my area. I will take my car there this week to get a baseline and next week or week after next after the SC install to get the "after" numbers.

The runs are $75 per session, so I'll be spending $150 in addition to over $3K on the blower itself.

Those who want to see the sheets / numbers before Christmas of '06 are welcome to PayPal me a buck.

Hey, you get more out of it than out of "make Wolo rich" fund!

I'll hook you up later when I get home--PayPal's blocked here in my office!

Either a local dealer (2 miles from my house), or "the biggest atlanta dealer" - 30 miles from my place - depends who gets their SC tools first.
My paypal is zoltiz(at)hotmail.com, btw.

If you come down to Auburn I'll let you dyno for free.
At 50 cents a mile it's cheaper to do it locally.
Eh? How'd you get that figure? You can easily get to Auburn on one tank of gas from Atlanta... and I'd guess, MAX, $50 round trip (easily cheaper than that). You would save $50 by coming down here.
$60-70 of gas plus adding 600 miles to the odometer > $150 dyno fee done locally.

Don't get me wrong, Ben, I really do appreciate the offer, I am just trying to squeeze the maximum out of 5/60 warranty, so I usually judge trips by what companies reimburse people for mileage - and I think it's getting close to 50 cents a mile now. (I got reimbursed 38 cents a mile back in 2003 when gas was half today's price).

I was suppose to have the SC installed today. But when I brought my car down, I was told that toyota has put a "suspended sale" on the TRD SC. It's unknown when it will resume resale. The parts guy told me that a few have been sold, but it's unknown why they stopped so suddenly.

This stinks.

I get 48.5 cents/mile from the county. This is a temporary upping following the IRS changes.
