Just got my Flint Mica '06 tC 5-spd 01/02/06
Traded in my '99 VW Passat GLS 1.8T auto and so far I'm very pleased with the new coupe.

I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do on the autocross track. The Passat wasn't bad in G-stock but we'll see what happens in H-stock. Anyone else here race (for real, not stoplight or highway recklessness)?

I autocrossed my tC last year. Was still on stock tires, so it was a challenge. All in all it did good. We'll see how it does this year with 245s and a blower

Cool! What class does that put you in, SM? SP?

After racing the Passat on Falken Ziex ZE-512's last year I've decided to get better rubber. I'm looking at a set of Hankook Ventus RS2 Z212 or Falken RT-615 for racing so i don't tear up my daily driver tires.

Heh... Last season a guy raced his Hyundai Accent hatchback and managed to get FTDi (indexed fast time of day)

Granted FTD went to an Porsche Carrerra 4 in ASP but still it shows that the Hyundai driver was better with his car than the Porsche driver.
