Sirius and XM are available.

What's your choice & why?

I have Chosen Sirius cuz I love "Howard Stern" and I like thier (Dog) logo...

I've had Sirius for about a year now and I love it. You will always find a song or something to listen to.
A budy of mine has XM and its crap the stations on it suck.
On sirius it is rare to hear the same song twice in one day, but on XM they loop their music like normal radio stations do.
I'm SIRIUS all the way
hehe, they're basically the same.
Saying XM is crap compared to Sirius is like saying Pepsi is crap compared to Coke (don't say a word, Marty).

I like XM - I only have several Sirius channels through my Dish subscription, and can't tell the difference. XM has a big plus, though. The receiver is seamlessly integrated with a stock HU, and it only costs me $6.99/mo.
i wouldnt know because i never listen to any radio

Pepsi is crap -- no comparison necessary.

^ Diet Coke is the best.

I've heard from XM users that the reception is very poor most often than not. In the mornings and late at night there's much static but it clears up for a few hours around midday.

Static? Poor reception? It's digital - there cannot be any static. Poor install can be a problem - FM modulators and such can cause static.

Then perhaps installation was their problem. I've never used it myself, but all 5 of them complained of "static" with their XM Radio.
I'd go with sirius, i like their digital compression algorithm better.. to me it provides better sound
plus I like the idea of three satellites on an elliptical orbit offset by 45 degrees or so (removes multipathing).. bottom line? I'll go with sirius

Man I thought Sirius won win in a land slide. I guess I was wrong.
Why would it? They're basically the same.
I want Sirius, too, seriously! And the sole reason is so I can get Howard Stern. He warms the cockles of my heart. Long live free speech.
So, are you guys telling me that I can now get Sirius in my tC rather than XM?
By the way, Coke is to Pepsi as Toyota is to Chevrolet. haha

Oh, and for any baseball fans, XM will be carrying ALL MLB games next season.

According to this Sirius article, yes you can...
I have XM right now and will keep it until 2007. Then I will probably got to Sirius because they outbid XM for the Nascar channel.
Didn't Sirrus get the NFL contract too?
dangit..
I like XM, becuase of the receivers (portable myfi), but i see that Sirrus is getting away from those bulky recievers.
