In case some of you "yungens" dont know what one is here is you a link.
http://retrogamer.merseyworld.com/atari.htm

As the title implies i am looking for a non-working Atari 2600. If some one has one they just want to ditch and just charge me shipping, well that would be most excellent. I prefer one that doesn’t work because it would break my heart to cut up a working one.

So if anyone has one they want to ditch let me know.

haha.. why do you want a non-working one??

i have (or had) one but it's at my folks place back in Hawaii.. unless my mom
finally decided to throw it out.. it still worked too and i had about 20 games or
so for it

i'll have to call up and see if it's still around.. hmm.. but i don't think i could sell it
to ya.. maybe if we trade.. atari 2600 for your tC!!!

ah yes, the battle to find those retro game consoles... 2600, 7800prosystem, NES, SNES, N64... all plugged in to a flat screen in my attic room as i am typing this. they all work. games for days up there. but you cant have any of them.
go to your local thrift store, thats where i scored my 7800 a few years back.

i will look for a 2600 while i am up in seattle this weekend. i know tons of places up there that have them from time to time. if i find one, i will ship it to you. no sweat. i will start by looking where i got my 7800 prosystem. do you need just the console? if its for a computer case, i dont see why you would need any other part for it. just let me know, i will look for you.

So, I realise that you have given up but, if you have since changed you mind I know somebody who may be willing to part with his 2600. What you want to do with is really seems like a good idea. I saw a write up on this guy who turned one into a web server.
