This one goes out as a warning... I must be the first to have this happen. I was playing tennis last Thursday and as usual I parked my car away from everyone else. Not a car around to be seen. While I'm playing tennis I notice shadows near my car and then I hear a "CLUUUNK!!!". I sprinted out to my car and my poor baby got hit by some 17 year old punk who was backing up and hit my passenger side rear quarter panel. [email protected]#[email protected]#[email protected]#$
I almost cracked the kid when I saw the rear of my car had been moved 3 feet from where it was originally parked!!!

Long story short, we swapped info and I got estimates on fixing it and prices were $1,780.00 - $2,200.00 OUCH
[email protected]#[email protected]#$ In the process now and getting appraisal from his insurance in the next few days. Moral of the story... park away from everyone else... but I'm talking strategically!

THERE's MORE!!! Two days later, I'm heading out to go meet some friends and when I get in my car I notice that all my shizzle in my glove compartment is all over the place. Then, I put two and two together that my car had been broken into! WHAAAT!!!! YEAAAAHHHH!!! I told the local officer in my apt complex and he knew right away who it was b/c of witness reports. He starts talking to a cracked out ho who lives literally right below me and she has my CD's in her apt!!! OKAAAAYYYY!!!! So they sent her arse to jail! I guess I forgot to lock my doors and she was going through the cars in the garage to see which ones would open. She stole CD's from two other cars!!! No damage... just more drama.

What an interesting weekend it was and let this be a lesson to park far far away and lock your doors!!! (Buy an alarm pronto!) I also need to vent. Peace out, H-Town!

well, at least it wasn't a hit and run and at least they caught who it was... sorry to hear that it had to happen to you though, get an alarm system!

that really sucks.. but not to be mean.. maybe you need to move out of the crack ho district where people don't know how to drive (or care) and who would break into your car.. just a thought

Like Whoa!!!!!!!!!
I feel for u man! I would have pulled out my steel nunchaku hidden in my silver tC and render the boy unconscious! Maybe not but that's what i would have felt like doing
. Well good thing he didn't run off and escape the scene without facing up to the consequence of his ill driving skills. And for the girl that crawled into your car to steal a few cds, she might be a freaking crack head! hahahaha! They are like dang roaches! An alarm would have helped u out cause roaches scattered when they hear sound or see light! Believe me i used to live in very ghetto neighborhoods and had to deal with that kinda mess.

And oh! Even if u park far far away...way in the boon dock of a parking...there is still someone who manages or wants to park next to u when u come back to your car! I always park my car far away from ere one. When i leave it is so far away it seems like it is the only car on the parking lot. When i come back to leave there are like 10 freaking cars parked next to me! Even a strategic parking is no avail sometimes, but i it does help nonetheless.

Hope your car's repair comes out just fine and no more drama for u! Best of luck!

WOW, insanse tale of events their. Hope the luck you have with your tC gets A LOT better soon! - T
oooh thats horrible -=( im crying for you.
omg man >.< that sucks !!! stupid kids who dont pay attention give me a bad name..... seriously its depressing, they should learn that thye can save themselves a lot more time taking their time even correcting yourself a couple of times when backing out or parking... stupid kids i hate tehm, i hope you have a better time >.< all the luck to you
Wow... sorry man. I feel your pain to a certain degree...

I had a close call myself the first week I got my car. I was at a Best Buy parking lot waiting for the car in front to park. He was waiting for a spot when a guy that was t-boned to my tC started to back up... I honked and honked and honked ... the guy finally stopped luckily just before he would have backed right into the passenger side of my car. I flip him the bird and kinda cussed him out and gave him the evil eye. You would think that ppl nowadays would look behind them before they back up... idiots!!! It wasn't like I was in a small car and they couldn't see me. What I don't understand is that I was there for a while already cause the cars in front of me were taking their sweet ass time parking. He must have totally spaced out or didn't bother to look behind him... careless drivers...

Anyways... I feel for you man... I would have had a heart attack if the dude backed into my car...

Hope everything turns out ok.

Good luck with the repairs. I hope everything goes well with your insurance company. I hate dealing with them so I wish you all the luck in the world. Oh yeah, and an alarm may be a good investment.
