hey all,

just got my windows tinted to 20% and after waiting about 3 days i rolled down my windows. It was very slow going down. coming up, it catches on the rubber padding/blocker between the inside of the car and the window. The window pulls that padding up and the window gets stuck about a third of the way up, then rolls back down automatically. i ended up taking those pads off. I was just wondoring whether i really need those pads. My tint is fine without scratches and the window has no problem opening or closing. I have no leaking of air or water. by the way, this is on both sides of the car.

needed some opinions

I sent your info to a tint installer in my area and this is the response I got:

There isn't a problem with the inner seal. The problem is the company that did the install, they tucked the inner seal and it is dragging  on the glass.
Sounds like it needs to be 'untucked'.
