I've seen this Tc around Ocala, FL. Does anyone know you this belongs to in florida. The guys got bright blue strips that i think i saw on the skyline in fast and furious and a spolier that just scared me. And a blue box on the dash centered with a tv screen?? Just wondering WHY! fine class turned into complete ass. IMO

Wait, so exactly who considers a Lexus LS430 to be, "rice?" It's an Asian car, but I doubt anyone with a sense of reality or proper understanding of the true slang usage of the term would ever call an LS430, "rice;" according to your statement, however, there are people who would. Show me someone who actually would think that. How about an Infiniti M45?

i've heard people calling every small asian made car a "ricer"[/b]

My bad, I didn't notice the key word, "small."

That makes perfect sense. If you took a brand new Mustang GT, slammed it, put 20" dubs on it shod with rubber bands, a 10" tall spoiler that creates as much drag as it does downfore and results in so much high-speed understeer the car should be nicknamed, "the bobsled," and slathers it in random SVT and other brand badges for things that may not even be on the poor car along with the most poorly manufactured, horribly ugly looking Altezza-style tail lamps ever made, it's been riced out, regardless of where it's made or what the car came from the factory as!

Period!

If I took a can of Coca Cola Classic and did the things I just listed to it, I just riced out that canister of Coca Cola Classic!!!

Do you not understand that what we're talking about is the common definition of a riced-out car? Just because your devine self refuses to agree with the going convention doesn't suddenly make it wrong in anyone's eyes but your own. If you suddenly decided that scrambled eggs were made by cracking the egg into a vat of 155-degree poaching fluid, then it's only scrambled to you; to the majority of people with a proper understanding of scrambled eggs, the described preparation is poached, not scrambled.

The definition of, "riced out," or ,"ricer," or, "rice rocket," is the common going convention, whether you like it or not.

EDIT: Btw might I add that I'm a rice-eating, yellow-skin, pure-blood Chinese person and it bothers me not one bit that people consider that sort of poor taste, "ricing out." It's the way it's used.

WOW I don’t think I should say another word but seems my terminology is seamlessly hurting people and may seem rude? However...freedom of speech directs me to express my words as freely as I want...so kiss my big brown ass. Thank you and have a nice day...lol I’m Asian and HEY it’s a riced car...get use to it...its like people calling things gay because it sucks...o well. Get use to it. Or fight everyone who says it….hahahahahah that’s going to be a B**** Goodnight and good day peoples. =)
2 me if they only put big ass spoiler on the back n puttin decals thats not suppose 2 b on that car (like VTEC on toyotas) 2 try 2 tell ppl their car is fast, those r lil weird n messed up
but if they did mod outside n under the hood too, then they r faster n thats acceptable 2 me, i got no prob wif that, in fact some of them r really nice tooo
im a Chinese too, i have no prob, y would any1 else??

Theres no reason in that statement buddy. Through that process racist terms are created. I'll give u an example: Spanish people calling black people "*****" (meaning black) eventually evolved into the "N"-word which I'm not going to say but since its what everyones heard before that makes it okay?? HELL NO ! ! !

Agreed fighting everyone is a B***H... thats why i'm done. I'm sure everyones heard enough from me, therefore all those narrow minded poeple that don't agree... A quote from wildpatel: QUOTE

Maybe you should scope my picture. It says a lot about me.

Using the term "rice" is not racist. It has nothing to do with race, creed, color, or national origin. It started way back in the early 70's when Honda started putting some real competition in the motorcycle market and the Neanderthals riding Harleys decided to call them rice burners as a derogatory statement. Even as late as the 70's there was still a very strong recollection of war in the Pacific, and this new tactic by a Japanese manufacturer was considered economic war. As in ALL wars, derogatory terms were developed to dehumanize the "enemy", hence the term rice burner was born for all the "turncoat" Americans riding Japanese motorcycles that actually started at the push of a button, ran reliably for thousands of miles, and performed better than the competition. These same Neaderthals are still using this derogatory term to describe motorcycles of Japanese origin.

Now that the history lesson is out of the way, modern use of the term rice, ricer, ricey, riced out, etc. means exactly what is on the riceboy page. It has nothing to do with the origin of the car (you'll notice there are Dodge Neons on his site, and other equally hideous domestics), and it is NOT aimed at anyone of Asian descent. It is a term describing an automobile. Since automobiles do not have race, gender, creed, or ethnicity; it is impossible to consider it a racial slur.

Your rather improper interpretation of the word would be the same as me taking offense to using the word black. It is a color, but it also describes a race of people, and it can be used in a racially charged way. However, just because I want to say I am offended by you saying black doesn't make it an offensive word or term. It's simply an adjective describing a noun. This is exactly the same way rice is used describing a CAR. NOT a person, not a person's ethnicity, heritage, race, creed, color, or national origin. Simply a car.

Take a chill pill. There are far more important things in life to get upset about.

I see your point, but your assumption couldn't be more wrong. I've been in situations where "rice" was used when no vehicles of any sort were involved. People (perhaps not many from this forum) have taken this word and evolved into something else racially bent & twisted. I can't tell everybody what & what not to think, just consider it.
i thought lo bux meant the picture in his profile...

Have you ever used the term gal to describe a woman? Do you know it originated as a term to describe female slaves who worked in the house instead of the fields? Do you know some educated black American women take offense at being called gals?

Sure, if I call YOU by any name other than your own, it can be derogatory. If I roll up on you and say "Whazzup a55hole?" might you be offended? Might it depend entirely on the situation and our relationship?

Yes, words mean things. But they don't mean only one thing, and any word can be corrupted. If you are easily upset by these things, your life is going to be difficult. I've been called a lot of things by ignorant people both black and white many times. I don't care. It does nothing to affect my self-esteem, and most of the time I laugh at the ignorant and stupid making the comments. As I have said to many friends, I have enough trouble just keeping my own life in order that I don't need to go around policing other people's attitudes. Vote with your feet and vote with your dollars. It's very effective.
