Pictures no worky.
I personally like the design on the torque, and I would say either gloss black silver. NIce choices
This is mostly for Lance but anyone else feel free to chime in.

They also have several other models in 17x7.5 that weigh ~16.5 lbs. The torques run ~18 lbs. My question is should I go with the 17x7.5 and a 225 tire and save that extra ~1.5 lbs per corner or go with the 17x8 and a 235 or 245 tire.

17x7.5 models of interest include:

I'll take the width for the small weight increase. That's why I got the GN+ even though they are a bit heavier than the FN01RCs, they are 8.5" wide, the ideal width for 245/40/17. Just my 2 cents.
i like the torque also.
The GN+ are nice but more than I'd like to pay. These run ~170 a wheel so that's a considerable difference. The cheapest I've even seen the FN01RC is ~210 a wheel and I know the GN+ are more than that.
I've changed my mind again. I read about too many problems balancing the Rota wheels so I'm looking at the Enkei RPF1. I can get them in 17x8 +35 or +45 and they weigh in @ ~15.65 lbs.

You're shopping in a bad place. I had a choice between FN01RCs for $170 or GN+ for $240. I wanted the wider wheels, so I spent the money. I wish there was an FN01RC in 8.5, it's lighter and cheaper than the GN+.
Fair enough, but the RPF1 are still a better deal than the FN01RC IMHO. I found them for slightly under $200 a wheel and I don't think there's anything in 17x8 that comes close for the weight and price.
I also found the Enkei RP02-J in 17x8 +35 on sale for $140 a wheel. They weigh about the same as the FN01RC.
