It's not aluminum. It's aluminized mild steel. That's why it's so cheap. Mild steel is very easy to work with, and they "aluminize" it with a sprayed on aluminum coating to provide some resistance to corrosion.

If you live in CA, specifically the Sacramento or Central Valley, you can get the aluminized steel and it will last a very long time. If you are into bling, get the stainless steel. If you live in the MidWest or anywhere you drive on salted roads, definitely get the stainless steel.

Now if only I knew how this thing sounded...and where they got the high flow cat. One of the muffler options is magnaflow though, so that should sound pretty good.

Creative Compacts sells this exhaust - http://www.creativecompacts.com/Merchant2/...=SciontCExhaust with a borla muffler. Anybody have any idea if this borla muffler sounds similar to the borla muffler on the TRD exhaust?

just joined so first just saying hey... and at the same time yeah the trd has no performance benefit its just for looks but greddy came out with a rear section evo2 version found it for 450and also optauto.com says hks has a hi-power rear section also for 360... i emailed them to make sure hksusa.com has one for the xb but the part number dosent match so im getting the for sure word... hope i didnt repeat..

Got my injen in today!, the morons didnt send me bolts or the gasket though so that will come within the next couple weeks!!! how can they forget 1 bag out of the 2 things they have to package???? But i went to the local parts store and the guy fit me up with the gasket and bolts. Got it on and it really does sound great. Its a little loud so if you dont want a loud exhaust i wouldnt recommend it , but its a VERY deep tone, not ricey AT ALL. So far i love it, even though the web site i bought it from is incompitant!!!!!!- not going to name names
