We are hearing labor prices from $550 to $950 depending on the area. We're charging $380.00 right now, but that will be going up to $450.00-$490.00 after the next install. My guess is that you're going to be looking at $850.00 in your area.Originally posted by mrbong@Nov 14 2005, 12:39 AM
i live in the bay area i what to get a s/c, where can i get it install, how much do you think it will cost, s/c plus install and where, thank you
However the blower installed by the dealer is going to be covered under the tC's warrenty. That itself is worth it's weight in gold. Unless you're prepared to work out every bug/hiccup/blown-ring-land then I would suggest TRD's blower.Originally posted by buderic@Nov 19 2005, 06:43 PM
I dont think 4000 dollars is worth it.... u could get a turbocharger for that price and easily get your horsepower up to 300....if the supercharge was priced more around 2000 id get it but trd will never let that happen
yes, you could get a turbo for about 3. and then you have to have it installed. unless you do it yourself, which is not something the masses are going to do, the the cost effectiveness hasnt changed, and you are probably going to shear an axle sooner than later (torque matters in this regard). with your warranty shot from the turbo, you get to play uncle moneybags and cough out the repair dollars. and, if you got pulled over in california, your car just got towed and impounded. add another 1200 bucks to your turbocharger costs. and now you have to return it to stock and get it signed off by the chp.Originally posted by buderic@Nov 19 2005, 06:43 PM
