I bought an Acura Integra with a salvaged title. It ran great and had it for ten years till I hit a deer. It's a toss of the dice as to why it was junked. Could be minor in the case of performance of the car, only it would have costed more to fix than calling it totaled. The yard could just replace the damaged parts from another vehicle. Are you buying it from a person who bought it as a salvaged or are you buying it from a yard. If it's from a person who have driven it, than it has been proven to run ok at least. Get as much information as you can, and use some common sense to get pros and cons.
