Hello everyone!

I'm looking to buy a used car, but I'm not sure if I should go for it or not. The car is a 2008 Scion Tc with a 2.4L L4 DOHC 16V engine and has a salvage title. The price is set at $4,000.

I'm really not sure if this is a good deal or not. I'm a bit wary about buying a car with a salvage title, and I want to make sure I'm not getting taken for a ride. I'd really appreciate any advice from all of you on this.

What do you think? Have any of you bought a car with a salvage title? How did it go? Are there any other things I should consider before I make a decision?

thanks to all who are reading this thread, after careful research I found out via a Detailed Vehicle History report that my intended car has 3 previous owners, that's way too much for me, it has some records or damages, including what seems like a major accident, it seems the odometer was rolled back, and I do not know how many other issues that it is hiding, hence I have decided not to make the purchase.

It looks nice in pictures, but I bought my 08 for half that price, with no salvaged title…… stock everything, and tons of miles. It looks like you are paying for all the extras on the car, so just ask yourself when you test drive it, do I love everything it has?
