What if?

What if TRD keeps screwing around with the available date for the SC and the price bounces around from 3 to 5 grand. Do you think a viable option might be the cold air induction plus headers. My tC has the TRD exhust, sway bars, springs and shocks. 160 is pretty quick already, so I'm thinking this may be all will take to make the car respectable. Maybe use the savings to install leather seats.

I think the car is already respectable, but what do I know? I don't race people or anything like that, I just like to have a good amount of "zip" in my car, and I think the tC has that already.

Just out of curiosity, I don't suppose you've ever been to Fast Eddie's in E. St. Louis, have you? Great place.

Respectable is just another way of saying "tough enough" I'm not going to chase down RX8 or 911's, I just want to be able to get out of their way quicker!
The reason I asked was because the SC puts a little more zip in your tC, and I was asking about an alternative.

No That's one place I've never been. D
Ahh come on, we're not that far off the rx8. But the is300 is what i really wanna beat. that has a 7-7.1 second 0-60. I wonder if the intake and headers could pull us up there?
coming from driving a 5sp maxima to the tC... i know what u mean. But, the tC is very respectable, and got tons of umph for it's price. As for modding the engine for power, i'm sticking with the factory SC cuz i want to keep the warranty.
im with serleba1.... i think the most i'll do to my car is lower it with TRD springs, and put in the TRD air filter.... and maybe... get the TRD exhaust... the tC appears to come with plenty of umph for the $$$... why change a good thing?
