Lol. Not sure it says anywhre in the manual that it's a "coin holder". You can fix it yourself in 5 minutes. Or you can spend 4 hours at the dealer. Your call.

please explain the 5 min fix, someone told me that you have to take the whole center console off, but if theres an easier way, please tell [/b]
Pull up the plastic molding around the shifter (grab side silver pieces and pull toward yourself, just be careful) - you don't need to completely remove it, just get it loose so you can access the next part. Then you can pull out the cupholders/coin holder piece. It's actually less than a minute if you've done it before, but don't rush if it's the first time you are doing it.
