am i going to have to tell your mother about your driving
lol... okay just kidding... but yeah the car does have a lot more power when compared to a civic or corolla..
have to get a GOOD radar detector now.. i'd suggest a BEL or an Escort..
probably would pay for itself for the cost of one ticket
Is that illegal? If not I would consider getting one.
i like how the myth out there that somehow radar detectors are illegal, they are not.. well only in virginia and washington D.C. they are legal everywhere else in the US.. now radar jammers, are illegal.. detecting the presence of radar is legal..
otherwise Valentine, Beltronics, Escort would be illegal companies.. and they are not
try a nice beltronics detector like the rx55, 65 or 995.. Escort is nice too, just for me i like the Bel interface and look.. just looked them up at crutchfield, yeah just as much as i paid for mine..
You could try taking it to court to see if you get the points reduced, half the time I found the cops just want their money. i've gotten speeding tickets before and it's a 50/50 chance you'll get something reduced or thrown out, but it's worth the fight. And sometimes I've walked away with no points.. oh if you do fight it and you find yourself in front of a guy named "magistrate" ask for it to be held over for an actual judge! This is a trick they pull.. The magistrate has NO legal authority to find guilt and make you pay.. Tell them "I want this held over for court" and bam, that will be it.. I had that pulled on me before.. what a joke..
a good detector doesn't protect unless you're paying attention and i don't go like 20 over.. it's just keeping me aware and i like that. [/b]
