one: dont embellish too much. your tC did not blow the doors off that Boxster S en route to vegas.

two: dont be afraid to let us know you got skooled by a neon. there are several out there that can do that to you, i am sure. i just dropped one to an accord, and i want a rematch.

three: even if you dont own a Scion - post your racing stories here anyway.

four: and if you run heavy mods, list them if we dont already know of them. nice to know what you are running when you tell a story about handing it to yet another civic si.

that being said, i want to take an opportunity to let you know that "we" here at yoursciontc.com certainly do not condone illegal street racing. nor do we encourage it. but we arent going to censor you from telling us about it. that we do encourage. go toe-to-toe with someone at your own risk, then reflect on it here.

drive fast, but drive safe.

well one of my co-workers drives a 2004 tundra i-force v8 and is always making fun of my 4-cyl car (stock supercharged tc) he's always passing me leaving our job which is like a 6 mile stretch 2 lane road but i dont pay any attention to him,but the other day he passed me doing 80+ and put his hazards on as if he had won a race and thats when i snapped i hammered the pedal down, about an 1/8 of a mile later i blew by him hitting my governor at 127 mph his headlights were 2 small dots in my rearview lets just say he hasnt said anything since[/b]
That is awesome. I had a 2006 TRD tundra try me the other day too. They are quick off the start but he got trashed to 85. I have also been getting into some interesting races lately. I was just next to a pretty loud newer s2000 today, and he reved up next to me, and honestly I thought I would lose the pull from 50 MPH but I walloped his ass by at least 3 cars to 90. I have ported heads, and 4:1 racing header that do WONDERS for the TC's mid range power! I also have throttle body work done, so it sounds boosted. If you want to pull on cars from a roll, do the mods I mentioned. Hint: Throttle body spacer! I don't care what some people say about them. Some say they are B.S. They are not though. The torque you get from it is ridiculous. There is literally no restriction when you hit the gas. The throttle response is as good as it gets. I.E my buddy has a 2003 TL type s that we used to run on the highway against my TC. I used to obliterate him from 60-100 by about 4-5 car lengths. Well, he put an OBX throttle body spacer on a week later, and whips me now by 2 cars. Granted his car is also heavily modded, he gained 7 cars more or less from the 60 roll by adding that! It helped my 1/4 mile go from a 14.36 @ 95mph to a 13.93 @ 98mph. It was my latest mod. You won't gain numbers like this on a stock car, but when it is hooked up already, you better strap in cuz u will be surprised!
