I have what look like really big water spots all over the hood of my car, including some parts of the body, and my spoiler (more prominent on flat surfaces). I gave my car a bath using Armor All car wash concentrate, and the spots didn't come out. Now, I think it COULD be that the acid rain (that's my guess) ate right through the wax or clear coat that came from the factory. Should I buy some good wax and try to buff these spots out? I've only had the car about a month. I tried taking a picture of one of these spots, but my camera can't focus that close

My Water spots came out. I used about twice as much car wash as I usually do so it was extra sudsy, and I was ANAL about keeping the entire car dripping wet when moving from one section of the car to another. Also, when I went to dry the car, I attacked the spots that showed the water marks last time first. I used alot of upper body strength to really "buff" out the spots, and to prevent future ones. When I was done, I hadn't a spot left (aside from a few small rock chips
).

I'm going to wait till I hit 1000 miles to give her a good waxin. I've just heard alot of mixed reviews about when to give a new car its first wax job. But since water still beads up like crazy, I figure I'll wait a little longer.
