Well its Monday and more frustration is building with the dealership that can not for the life of them provide customer service. I called in this monring to check to see if the car had arrived over the weekend by chance since they already are almost a week past due. The lady I spoke with said yes its here and will be ready in the afternoon. I called later from work to verify so I could pick it up at lunch and my sales lady said nope it was not in. I was so pissed. I called back and talked to the owner who was an idot. He said he doesnt know why its taking so long cause it supposedly should have been here last thursday he says. So he said he was going to call the port to find out what the hold up is. I swear Pasadena has to be the stupidest dealership I have ever come across. These people have no clue what they are doing. I can assure you I will make sure no one I know buys a car from them every. I have already called Scion twice and complained and they are going to contact the dealership and find out whats going on. This is pathetic. I want my damn car already! lol.

Oh and as for the rattling I believe its only being affected by those who have 2005 models and the person from Scion when I called said they have issued reports to the dealers regarding this problem and the dealers shuold fix it if you take your car in.

I special ordered my tC and had most of my accessories installed at the port. From the time I ordered it to the time I received it was only 3 weeks. I was told 4 to 6 weeks but I guess I just got lucky! I guess it all depends on what region you are in and how popular the car is. Sorry for the bad experience, but for every bad experience there is a good one.

1st post..

maybe i got lucky but it seems like most people have to wait for their scions. i bought mine right off the lot here in metairie, la. it had 153 miles, and some scratches on the side above the window in the paint, and along the front and rear passanger windows. i didnt notice the scratches till the next day (it was evening when i bought the car and i didnt give it the fine tooth comb inspection like i should have).. but my salesperson and the dealership were more than happy to take it back and completly replace both windows. and its at the dealer now getting those light scratches in the metal buffed out and touched up with paint. also i hadnt noticed that i paid for mats and i let my salesguy know, and he said no problem. so 7 days, 300 miles, no problems yet..

they dont seem to have many scions around here. i see some of the box ones every now and then, and every week or so i might see a tc.

im a little concerned with what seems to be an inevitable damnation to a universe of unfixable rattles. is the rattle thing REALLY that big a deal? im trying to figure out what is the actual percent of tc owners that have a noticable rattle

Wow.. i would have never bought a car with that much miles on it.. my personal opinion, but i've heard stories people tell me about their "test drive" experience.. I had to test drive an AUTO tC.. didn't really push it, but the salesperson wasn't in the car with me.. never know what anyone could have done with that much miles on it.. but thats just in my opinion.. congrats on the purchase..
