waiting for my scion

I know from reading the forums that the dealer telling me it will be 6-8 weeks for my Manual AP with SAB is normal. What I would like to know is how many people waited that long? If you didnt, is that because you decided you couldnt stand it and compromised on color choice, transmission, and/or SAB? Its only been 3 weeks and I am dying here!

oh man i want this car soooo bad! i cant get it until next tuesday the earliest. i went and saw it today its just sitting in the lot waiting to be picked up...its going to be a loong week. some kid ordered the car in the same color that i was going to order it in and he backed out of the deal @ last minute, thank you whoever you were!

I waited 7 days to get mine. I wanted the 5 speed IIP but that was going to take a month so I went with the automatic IIP. One thing I was not going to settle on is the color.
