I know from reading the forums that the dealer telling me it will be 6-8 weeks for my Manual AP with SAB is normal. What I would like to know is how many people waited that long? If you didnt, is that because you decided you couldnt stand it and compromised on color choice, transmission, and/or SAB? Its only been 3 weeks and I am dying here!

Thanks for the encouragement! Sadly, I just did the math and it hasnt even been 3 weeks - just 17 days...and counting!

I like the suggestion of taking up a new hobby while I wait (and wait and wait and....). It seems though, that my new hobby is browsing the tc forums - my boyfriend says that i am obsessed! Thats ok - getting back at him for his obsession a few months ago while he waited months for his mini cooper! Its been 20 days now. Maybe I will call and harrass the dealer. Does anybody know if there's a certain day of the month that they get their dealer allocation lists? Oh how I wish he'd call!

I'm kinda jealous that you are being kept informed though. I called my dealer yesterday and he hasnt called me back He's not told me anything about "build dates", etc. He just keeps saying "Dont worry - I'll take care of it sweetheart" and rushing me off the phone! Aargh

Day 35 for me. My dealer called me to offer me a SW, w/ SAB but automatic. SW is my second choice, but I really want a manual. He is unable to tell me anything about when mine might come in.

The red one does look sweet.
