Hey Jemanchi, I feel your pain, I'm on day 24 of waiting. The dealer told me 4 to 6 weeks so its almost coming up on the 4th week.

What really sucks is that a week after I ordered my tC, my mom ordered an xB for my bro and the dealer gave him an 8 week wait and guess what, hes getting his tomorrow. Apparently some guys credit fell through so my bro was next on the list, so they are installing all the options my bro wanted and it'll be ready tomorrow. But I'm waiting patiently

I guess it all depends on your area. There are 2 dealers here and when I went to go test drive a tC one dealer had one but couldnt be driven cuz it already belonged to someone (lucky bastard!) and the other dealer had a demo and one for sell. It wasnt the color I wanted so I had to order it.

As for the 8 week wait on an xb, I dont know my bro didnt have to wait the 8 weeks. I guess he (the dealer) over quoted the time frame?

So as I said I called yesterday and got some bad news.

My car hasnt even been built!!! The dealer said it had a build date of May 8 but that it is only tentative. So he said it would be another 4 1/2 weeks I would be waiting.

You shouldnt wait for him to call back, they tend to get very busy and forget stuff. My dealer said the same thing but I needed to know what was going on so I just called back. It took a few calls (out to lunch) but I finally got a hold of him.

I dont know if this will help but my dealer informed me that they get updates on where in the process the cars are in the beginning of the month and 2 updates during the month. I dont know if your dealer does it the same.

And I'm still waiting, passed by the dealer today and saw a red one which looks sweet from afar. I think I'll just wait for my SW one. Day 40.

So here I am now day 45 and still waiting. Its been 2 weeks since the last time I talked to the dealer when he told me it would be another 4 1/2 weeks. I passed by the dealer this morning and saw 2 rs 1.0 in the lot, also saw 2 SSM and I think its was Flint Mica. They also have a Yellow xB on the lot. That thing sure stands out in the lot! I'm patiently waiting on news of my car.

I just realized I ended the initial six week wait on Friday. I've got to keep reminding myself the wait will be worth it, the wait will be worth it.

I do agree that 45 days of waiting is crazy. But the thing is I wont drive a couple of hundred miles for a car, waist of time and money just for a car. But what I am considering is going for a mazda 3 or a cobalt instead.

I really like the tC and have become such a fan even though I dont have one yet. I'm hoping to be able to hold out a few more weeks for it, cuz my current car works fine so I dont have a need for the car yet.
