Universal wheel?

Hey guys, my buddy has a swe of 17s with like 500 miles on the tires,from his civic, im going to see if they fit sat, but he says they are a universal metric wheel and should fit? what you think about this?

I think you will be out of luck. If his Civic is new enough to have a 5 bolt pattern anyway..I see it as 5 x 114.3 vs. the tC 5 x 100

The 5 x 114.3 has a wide selection of wheels available. The 5 x 100....quite a few less.
I thought most civics were 4x100.

You are correct. That is what I get for reading a chart from one of the wheel sellers showing 2002 Civic SIs only with a 5 lug pattern...the pictures I see of the SI look like 4 to me. Shep will be out of luck either way it appears. Will be hard pressed to shove a 4 lug wheel on a 5 lug tC
ahh, yea......i figured it wouldnt fit, but he said there are like 12 holes drilled into the rim, and that it should fit.......? idk.

It probably has holes drilled for 5x100 and 5x114. A lot of aftermarket wheels do....
