to those of you who were able to get a TWM before now, be thankful.

the short shifter is now 185 dollars.

for the shifter and counter-weight knob, they want 260 for the silver, and 275 for the gun metal!

these prices are not only ridiculous, they are HILARIOUS!

Well, at least something was a good deal at that time. Unlike springs and swaybar...
woo-hoo! i finally got a good deal on something! 130 shipped beats the hell out of 200 plus.
Too bad I didn't take my own advice & get this while it was priced so well...

yeah!
man, that sucks. I was planning on getting it when I had the dough. I don't really think it's that worth it now. You guys think it'll go back down eventually?
tCtunerZ are planning to copy the TWM shifter and sell it for $99. might make sense to wait.

Copy or not - how much "innovation" is in making a short shifter? Move the pivot point 1", make the stick shorter 2" - and you have a $200 product? I don't think so. Let tctunerz copy it and provide some decent competition. At least they are doing something.
eh, i don't know if i'd trust their machine work, or anything they make, for that matter. if they sourced an outside company, maybe.

and, if someone can come up with something to reduce throws further, i'll be thinking about swapping it in. the TWM throws are starting to get long.
I would much rather spend more money than buy something from tctunerz at this point.

if they cant make carbon fiber correctly, i certainly wont trust them to machining anything. besides, the rep on the web seems to be true. all bad things start with tctunerz, imho.
I would never trust them with anything they came out with based on the info they've provided over time and D's experience. I'm waiting till TWM slashes their price or another decent company comes out with a comparable product.

IMHO I think that TWM has walked out on a limb and the customers aren't going to follow. Give it some time and I bet prices will come down out of necessity.

Ken
i hope so. i mean, i like the TWM shifter, but it isnt plated in gold.
No they aren't. They are good and they're nickel plated, which the imitations won't be, but I think they priced themselves out of the market.

Ken
I heard that it's made of aluminum then nickel plated. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Prefer stainless steel.

Joel
Our tC shifters are actually made from very high strength cold roll steel.

Thanks.
