So this is the little bit that i know about turbos...they really get hot...or the gasses...in there...i live in florida...and it gets pretty hot over here...like get on the tc and it marks 115...anyways...would it be safe to put a turbo on it? this is a car that gets driven everyday....

You won't be able to run as high of a PSI, but that doesn't mean that you'll blow the motor just by having a well-tuned turbo on there. There are several things you'd have to watch out for, and just having an intercooler won't save the car.

Intercooler's allow you to run a higher PSI than if you didn't have a intercooler... it also cools down the exhaust gases coming from your engine (as those are really hot).

Intercoolers have absolutely nothing to do with exhaust gas temperatures.

Your thinking of intake temps.

Cooler intake temps sometimes will increase exhaust temps because it will run leaner all things being equal.

Most quality air to air intercoolers will reduce inlet air temps within 80% of ambient temps but your EGT's will remain the same.

Intercoolers only allow increased boost pressure when fuel for that extra boost is available.
