I think since around July? The damn springs are so low now it's beginning to annoy me. My shocks/struts seem to be holding up though; no bouncy-bouncy here!Originally posted by Dmitry82@Dec 17 2005, 10:20 PM
For how long do you have your TRD springs??
I'm getting some extremely occasional rubbing with my +35 offset 17x7 wheels & stock size tires, because the car sits so low, the springs are soft enough to remain bearable, the shocks don't dampen the bound sufficiently and NYC's roads are asphalt and concrete hell (blame the trucks and salt).Originally posted by Dmitry82@Dec 17 2005, 10:25 PM
What do you mean by "annoying"??
My dealer killed me on that; I'm contemplating never going back (~$900 to install the front brakes incorrectly and the springs).Originally posted by mwuf15@Dec 21 2005, 09:09 PM
so ed, how much did it cost u to install the springs at the dealer?
I'm fairly careful about this in general, lowered or not, and so far I've only been in two situations where my car was scraping a tiny bit in the center when cresting steep rises/ramps. It's not terrible, to be honest.Originally posted by JFBP4991@Dec 22 2005, 02:54 PM
have they lowered enough for rubbing or scraping on driveways or anything?
