TRD springs from dealership
i was looking on the scion site and it had TRD lowering springs as a choice on the accesories but it only said it would lower it 25mm is this true? i was plannin on lowering a inch then putting 18s on.

TRDs are closer to 1.2" (30mm). One day US should join the rest of the world and accept metric system...

at least we dont use "stones" as a weight measurement! im used to the confusion that is our system lol
As a Brit, who pretty much grew up with both systems, I'm amazed that anyonw could find a mathematical system that uses Base 10 (and 10 for everything) confusing.
Surely 1/16's and 3/8's are more confusing.
The fact that a mile has a good round number of yards in it 1760 is crazy.
And don't even get me started on liquids.

1 Gallon is 4 Quarts or 8 Pints
1 Pint is 4 Gills or 2 Cups or 96 Teaspoons or 7680 Minums

Funny story about metric system... I took my girlfriend to the Domincan Republic. We needed to get to a car rental place off the airport so we took a local cab. The cabs didnt look too safe to begin with, but I was born there, so I'm used to them, she's not. The guy gets on the highway, and as he speeds off my girl notices there are no seat belts. She's start freaking out when she sees the guy hitting 95, 105, 115, 120, finally 125 she screams WHAT THE >> is wrong with this guy? Why is he speeding like a maniac, let me OUT OF THIS >><< CAR!!! And punches/scratches me on the neck. I just laughed and said, babe, those are Kilometers per hour, not miles. I will never let her live that down.
i agree with angryjonnie. it is much easier to say, " this 18mm is too small, give me the 19mm." than try to remember how many fractional sizes there are between 1/2 and 3/4. i have never used a 15/32 socket in my life. but i have several.
