I'm going to do a full suspension installation I'm stuck on which springs to get I originally was going to get the TRDs but then I saw the Hotchkis.. I like the hotchkis cuz its a little lower, but is it gonna look funny with the rear end lower or does it really even it out (1.7F & 1.9R)...or should I stick with TRDs which just do a 1.25 all around?

well I have the TRDs and I love how the ride and look especially when they settle, I think that the hotchkins would look kinda weird being that the back is way lower than the front.

Sorry, the back is not that much lower than the front drop, .2" is barely noticable and stock the front is lower than the rear anyway.

Hotckis is a high performance suspension specialist and quite a good one, they know how to make a great set of performance springs that work very well yet still ride decently.

IMHO I do not think the TRD springs allow enough drop to be worth it.

Hotchkis has been around a long time and is one of the best. If you want that big a drop, you can't go wrong with Hotchkis.

i'm planning on the exact set up east_side is going for

Hotchkis springs and sways...TRD struts. and probably the hotchkis strut bar.

TRD is a good reputable factory performance branch but hotchkis is the name to beat in performance suspension.

Hey I found some pics of the hotchkis springs installed on a tc... looks really good. I too was debating between trd and hotchkis, the back is not lower than the front, its almost about even now... I think it looks great, take a look:
