TRD Leather Shifter Knob

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I bought a 2006 Scion TC last week and so far, with the exception of some rattling noises, I love the car.

I was wondering if I could use the TRD leather shifter knob to replace the stock 5sp shifter knob or do I have to install the short shifter kit prior to doing that. Also, is it hard to install or do I just unscrew the stock shifter knob and pop the TRD knob in?

You can and it's just unscrew. 20 seconds.
this is asked alot, but i suppose its still a good question.
Actually I have one more question. The TRD leather knob is weighted and that works well with the short shifter kit. However, does it work well with the stock shifter as well?

I haven't actually had the chance to hold one so I don't know how heavy it is. Also, what's the cheapest place online to buy the TRD knob.
TRD knob is about the same weight as the stock knob. And TRD quickshifter that it's sold with is the same height as the stock shifter, so it will work just as good with stock shift lever.

That's OBX. TRD is very different from this thing.
