Unlike the mild steel used in other after-market products, the TRD Front Strut Tie Bar’s added
strength comes from TIG-welded oval extruded aluminum material.

The TRD Front Strut Tie Bar has been powder-coated in a “TRD” red-titanium colored coating
for maximum protection and durability.

One last finishing touch is the bold TRD logo featured on a stainless steel plate.
$245.00 installed
$200.00 parts only

do what you will with that information.

Back on topic... Do you think this is mostly a cosmetic pice of hardware? I assume this goes in the engine bay from one tower to the other, correct?

So they painted the hotchkis bar? Should have painted the DC sports one - it looks more solid.

I personally think the Hotchkis bar looks cleaner and stronger. The DC Sports one looks.... well, kinda cheap.
