Had some free time at work and decided to wander on over to www.toyota.uk

The cars Toyota offers in Europe are really different from those in the North American lineup. I didn't know that the two markets were so different - so many models not offered here, even the different version of the Corolla!

Does anyone think we'll ever see some of these European models make their way over here?

Didn't the IS300 come over here almost exactly how it was in Europe except for the changes needed to make it emissions passable?

I like the European Corolla much more than the US version.

it's just interesting how the consumer tastes differ in other markets, they have a lot less big and hulky cars, most of theirs are compacts. And they only offer 2 SUV's (not including the small pickup).

It's really interesting to read some of the car magazines in Europe. Some of them make a really big deal about total cost of operation per kilometer. When have you EVER seen that in a US car magazine? Not even Consumer reports is as thorough as some of the European mags I have seen.
