Ive got my SW tc on order...
Im getting 18x7.5 wheels and going with the tein ss coilover setup.. Im torn on tire size... The car will most likely be pretty low (ive heard that should have much bearing on rubbing or not fitting) Im sure with the size of the tc wheel well's that i should'nt have any problem fitting. But im just looking for just the right size.
235/40 ? 225/40? i want to make sure its wide enough i like the look of a fat tire but i dont want it to wide...
Anyone?

They will be wide enough? anyone with a similar wheel tire setup? 18x7.5 with 225/40 ?
Wide enough for what? Autocross? Then you don't need 18s to start with...

225/40/18 comes on all stock tC 18's.

Agreed, 17's are the way to go on these cars for autocross. Some light Rotas or Rays/Volks. 18's do create a stiffer "sidewall" but don't allow for enough flex when maxing out a corner. for the size of this car, go 17's for performance and 18's for bling.
If it were smaller like a 95> civic hatch I'd say 16's.

5Zigen wheels are a lot cheaper and in the same weight class as Rota, Rays, and Volk. FN01RCs are under $200 a wheel, ProRacer GN+ is available for around $250 a wheel. That beats TE37's by a long shot. But we've discussed this at length the Wheels forum.

It will be fine. 225/40/18 prefers an 8" rim, but a 7.5 is acceptable.

I like Toyo T1S Proxes. Inexpensive compared to the competition, and work well under just about all conditions.
