called up the dealership here and the dealer that was helping me was
off!!!

anyways i spoke to another dealer and she said that they had received some tC's
today.. i didn't want to go down there and put myself in more pain.. even if 1 of
those were mine they wouldn't let me drive it off until my dealer comes back
tomorrow.. arrrrgggghhhh.. and i thought women were teasers.. lol

9 hours til they open up.. i think i'm gonna go wait outside for them to come to
work.. i even took a day off work.. so they better have my car!!!!

Waiting since June 29th. The first three weeks were not that bad because I was on vacation for two of them. They went by fairly quickly because I was not expecting the tC till this week anyways. But my tC arrived at port Monday and should be ready later this week. But this week is going by so painfully slow!! Work has been slow and I have spent most of my time on tC forums! I am stalking this car. I know everything about it. I am feel like I am reduced to counting the seconds till the car will get here! These past five days feel like 10 years. I already have 50,000 miles on this car in my mind. And I sold my old car so I am bound by what cars I can barrow and rides I can get!

I'm not sure where you all are at. but I've been getting calls from my local dealers telling me they have 5sp tc in stock (los angeles). the only thing is, I am looking for a tc with side airbags. anyone knows how much longer will it take them to arrive?

i heard that getting the airbags (a factory installed option) delays your wait time tremendously b/c all these cars (for the most part) are back ordered.

Yeah, I'm almost thinking about calling my salesman and asking him to call me only one or two days before I can come pick it up. It could be arriving on the lot tomorrow (MAN don't I wish!) and I wouldn't even want to know...

Just call me on Saturday and tell me to come get it on Monday.

supposedly my car will be available later today

my dealer has guaranteed me it.. apparently it would have been here earlier in
the week, but the other dealership dropped the ball

well i'll just have to see it to believe it.. if i end up having to wait again i'm gonna
show up to the dealership and
my dealer

My dealership said they're getting 2 tC's a month (in Southwest Virginia).

The dealer's allotment really depend on the amount of Scions they sell.... so since Longo Scion is the largest dealer in the nation... they would get the biggest allotment.

Since Scion's really just hit the east coast, most of the dealers would not have enough pull with Scion to get more than 2-3 cars at a time.

My wait is OVER!!! well actually it's a bit of good news/bad news..

the good news is.. my tC has arrived.. and i've seen it in person and even drove
it around the block

the bad news.. the parts that I ordered haven't been put on.. so I couldn't take it
home with me

it's cool though.. they have everything in stock except for the spoiler and the cd..
they're gonna spend all day tomorrow putting everything else on.. hopefully they'll
have a cd to install by tomorrow as well.. either way i'm driving it off the lot for
good tomorrow.. i can always bring it back in to get the cd or i can go scope out
some aftermarket ones since i'll be getting one eventually

anyways i am relieved whew!!!!

Are you getting hte lowering springs? If so, how much are they charging you for that? My dealer told me it was $680 to have the TRD lowering springs installed. That seems like a bit much considering the springs are only $170 off partznet

no.. the options i got were spoiler, trd exhaust, pedals & knob, security..

looking back i should've purchased these options separately from that parts site
and put em on myself.. but what the heck..

i'm gonna go the same way C!pher did and order those springs and install em
myself.. like ya said that $680 is way too much

i think the only thing i'll go back to the dealer for (installation wise) is when the
s/c is available

Grats on your car!!!

SO is the shift knob just a screw off, screw on sorta' thing? Also, how hard is it to install the springs and the anti-sway bar (those are two things my dad's sorta' wanting me to get "for handling reasons").

GRATS AGAIN!!!
