Actually Hun, I think we ordered ours right on the same day or something. I put my deposit down on June 29th, verified the order on July 2nd, and I've been biting my nails and being a tC forum-junkie since then!

I'm making it through right now....but I think I'll lose it if I see a tC on the road.

Edit: Nevermind, I think you've got me by 2 days.

Awwww....that just hurt my feelings.

Seriously though, I just called my dealer since it's been about 18 days and I hadn't heard from him.

Bad news....he said he thought it came in a few days ago, but it wound up being an automatic that someone had ordered. (Which makes me wonder b/c supposedly I was 2nd on the order list, and I thought the other guy got Silver Streak...hmmm....)

Anyways, he doesn't know when it'll be in, but he's sticking to the "by the end of the month or the first part of August" ETA....which sucks. Guess I'll stay a part of the Waiting Club for a little bit longer.

I still think its a bit ironic that the site Admin hasn't even put a deposit down on the car yet. GET TO STEPPING!!!

Yeah, I'm almost thinking about calling my salesman and asking him to call me only one or two days before I can come pick it up. It could be arriving on the lot tomorrow (MAN don't I wish!) and I wouldn't even want to know...

SO is the shift knob just a screw off, screw on sorta' thing? Also, how hard is it to install the springs and the anti-sway bar (those are two things my dad's sorta' wanting me to get "for handling reasons").
