The Race To Hit 10K Miles...

Oh wow.. thats a ton of miles! I've had my tC since July 12th and I have 1,520 or so miles on her. LOL... I don't live far from anywhere...

Got mine June 30th. I'm a sales rep, so I'm on the road every day. My closest account is around 50 mi from home (I live in the California Sierra Nevada foothills, and wouldn't move for anything or anyone). My furthest account is in Elko, Nevada...some 450 mi away. My average daily drive is 250-300 mi. I know I drive alot, and I'm so glad I have a car that I truly enjoy driving. Just wondering if anyone is even close to my miles.

I'm actually trying to keep the miles low - went wild with my previous car last year - put 25K on it, and I live a mile from the office.

So my tC is on a mileage diet. It's 2 months old and at almost 3K, so I have to take it easy for the next month or so to keep it within 12K/year.

I'm trying to keep my mileage low, too, but it's not really working. I got my car on August 3rd, and it has over 1,800 miles on it. I don't really know how, since I don't really go much of anywhere other than work...I guess that a large part of it was driving to my parents' new house for the three weeks that they were out of town to check on the cat...that's probably about 50 miles a trip right there...

I'll probably break 2k today... and may put another 3k on it over the next couple months...

damn i thought i was flying through the miles coming up on 3K quick!!!

I know. I just love driving my car. I drive everywhere now. Its nice to have a car that gets more than 14mpg city!

I haven't even broke 1,000.

Well, I traded my 2000 Celica GTS in with 42K miles which is 10.5K miles per year. That means I should hit the mark perhaps August 2005.
They call me a road warrior (on the road 2 weeks out of a month) around the office too, but I airline everywhere I go!

Today's the day!! Less than 200 mi to go. I'll be sure to take pix and post.
