I was going to take apart stereo and see for myself if there were pre-outs but then I remembered so many people on here have probably done this already. I have an aftermarket deck that has sub pre-outs which run at 4-5v while stock decks who dont have sub pre-outs run at 2-3v. I'd like to get as much power out of my subs but I love the scion deck! I know I can hook the lines up to the rear outs but that will only give me 2-3v...of course I'd like more bump in my trunk

Why don't you try adding a crossover or equalizer. Kicker makes a really good one. Its called the KQ5. It sends a 7 volt to your amp. Look it up. Think you will really like it.

there is a kit you can buy off of ebay or alpman sells them so you can hook them up to your stock unit
