Hey everyone, I just recently recieved my scion tc and like many others had already thought about installing a new deck to replace the stock system. I wanted to know if anyone know of any places (online or not) that sold a stereo kit for a tc. I see plenty for the other two scions but none for mine. Need help

I'm not sure if the tC specific kits are available yet, however I used the xA/xB kit (w/ the pocket at the top) and modified the factory tC brackets to mount the radio. It fit nicely.

should just use a universal pocket

You could use the universal pocket, but a DIN sized radio w/ the pocke is still slightly smaller than the factory radio opening. You would have to fabricate something to take up that gap. Plus, if the radio has a volume knob. or other extrusions on the face, you may have to recess the radio back in order for the door to close properly. The kit I mentioned previously will take care of both thes problems and will still give you a pocket.
