i was just wondering what the deal is with my starter. all the other cars i drive, i turn the key and the car turns over immediately. With the tc ialmost have to turn it to run for a second and then turn the key to start it. is it something to do with the security chip in the key? Its not a big deal, but it's different from other cars i've driven. thanks

i've noticed it too.... my civic started up quickly... but then it only had a 1.5L engine.... maybe its the size of the engine... either way.. it doesn't bother me ... if it didn't start.. then that'd be another story

yeah, my civic used to crank like, twice and fire right up. when there wasn't a short somewhere

kind of. not enough funds to really go at it

i had the loud muffler, intake, and 18"rims. nothing beyond that. don't worry no rice for my tc!
