Someone Hit my Window with a baseball bat

So I get in a lot of road rage incidents here and there, but none the less I didn't want this to happen. I had some dumbass the other day cut me off, so I passed him before the two lane road went down to 1 lane. It bothered him cause he was in an SUV and couldn't handle the curves up ahead, so he followed me into these apartments which I cut through so I get get pointed the right direction to park in front of my house along the curb. Anyways, he then, after I stepped out of the car and got on the sidewalk, he floored his pathfinder and he was headed right towards my car. Right before he hits my car he swerves and then goes off my street and heads wherever. Anyways, sometime that night, I am not sure if it was him, but someone broke my drivers side small back window, and it looks like it was probably a baseball bat or something small like that. The mere fact that it was that window, and it wasn't the entire thing means that it was a object that someone would swing, and would be somewhat small... Now I have to get a new window, and I have it professionally tinted so I have to get it tinted again too... Sucks, but I need to stop road raging...

that may be a good idea.

additionally, i would think it would be best to not go home right away when being followed by a pissed off person. that's just me though. i don't need them to know where i live.

but, i really don't get all road raged too much.

sorry 'bout yer windah.
Probably a flashlight. The glass is $78 (MSRP $99), plus install. Comes with rubber molding.

Ask Marty how much install was after his flashlight incident.
I don't want to be an ass, but dude, if your going to play the road rage game, that's cool, but why on earth would you park and leave your car where you know he would know where it was? If someone was following me I'd never lead 'em right to my apartment, right to my parking space. *shrugs
Yeah, you should really do something about the road rage. Seek professional help if necessary, seriously.
Um, no, that's NOT your fault. I had a similar experience with an SUV. We were both at a light about 2 miles before the entrance to 81N, and he's revving his engine. I started laughing, and I think that pissed him off. So I go for it, and I beat him. Same thing at the next light, but after this light, it was the entrance to the highway. So he keeps it floored and cuts me off (I wasn't going to go retarded fast through here, it was 45 before the HW). So I'm behind him now on a one lane stretch that merges onto the hw. What's he do? SLAMS on his brakes to a dead stop, hoping I'd hit him, and then he goes. I just let him go and do his thing. I just drove slow so he'd go away. But if he had kept screwing with me just b/c he couldn't handle loosing to a 4cyl car, I'd have driven to a police station

Anyway, in your situation, I wouldn’t have driven home. If I had just pissed someone off (intentionally or not), I would have kept driving till he turned off somewhere, or I would have went to a police station. I don't want some weirdo knowing where I live, or knowing where I park my precious every night.

Hope you get that fixed asap. Gl man. Don't let asshol es like him change how you drive.

I would be really mad if I was you. If I was you, I would of got that a##holes license plate number. Then you could go to his house and break his window. But, you never want to have somebody follow you home like that. I would have just out ran the guy. You could have easily got away from that tank.
^^^ You'd better get yourself in check before you end up in jail.
Check!
But seriously, you never want somebody like that to follow you home.

If I was in your case, I would have just circled my block until he got tired and left. If he didnt leave then he would run out of gas before I did anyway. Then what would he do? HA HA

Anyway, good luck with the repair, fellow Ohioan.

Hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness. We must meet the forces of hate with the power of love. (1958 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.)

the only reason there is road rage is we allow and perpetuate it.
Great quote from a great man. By which I mean Dr. King, not you, mori. Although you're pretty cool, too.
dude, you know my quotes will be in books someday.

i guess i need to learn to be more prolific.

i wouldn't go that far. marty is pretty f-ing cool.
read mlk's later quotes and letters and see his growing discontent with continued pacificism. mickael you are prolific, in my eyes!
lol..... here in the road rage violence capital of the world, i try and avoid leading people and really that kinda activity could end up in lost life. not worth it at all...just play loud music and yell or remove that pent up anxiety. at least you admit the issue
