Heres some pics of the TC...

I loved the car but the g35 is the car Ive wanted for a long time. One thing that sucked about the TC is that there wasnt as many aftermarket parts as there are for the g35 since its been out for a while.

if only it was a skyline...

nice ride, really.
That is one bad azz G35 Coupe, great choice. See you got the sport-tuned suspension package and the aero-dynamics package. Cool!

Did you get the premium package also?

2007. Skyline comes to America with left hand drive...partially substantiated rumor. Sounds nice to me.

But I agree that Nissan isn't Toyota. Worked on both, Toyota just overengineers a bit more than Nissan. Lots of good examples, but I'd take a Toyota over a Nissan of comparable specifications.
DUDE if the skyline comes, i dont care how expensive it is, my tC is going to my bro and im getting the skyline!!!!

g35 and 350z are the same car basically, only major differences is luxury, the g35 is a bit more confortable. You cant go wrong with either of those cars. they were the cars i was looking at along with the tC when i was shopping for mine and went tC mainly for cost, insurance, and future maintenance upkeep cost purposes.
A G35 is a Skyline, while the 350Z is well, a Z.

Yeah, but it isn't a REAL Skyline without ATTESA.

well, i take back what i said about wanting the rumored new skyline, mainly because of the lack of asthetics. anyway, here is what im talking about. maybe i can get used to it, but i doubt it....

Hey man, like almost everyone else, im not a huge G35 fan but i do like the 350Z. I like the design a little better. The G35 seems to be stretched out to much. I did notice you bought an Automatic G35 and your TC was a 5 speed. Anyways, its still a great car and congratulations on your new purchase. Hope it lasts you. Good Luck man. Pz out.
"and even they show that Nissans are much less reliable than the others."

But they have infinity ABOVE Toyota....

"Also, since someone brought up the J.D Power rankings, let me mention this: their "long-term" reliability ratings are based on the number of "problems" in three-year-old cars. I am not particularly convinced that how well a car holds up for three years is highly predictive of its long-term reliability."

The idea is to see where the cars are at when the warrenty begins to run out.

"Just as importantly, how useful are these rankings if they don't discriminate between different types of problems based on severity? For example, BMW's rating is not much worse than Toyota's...but if 60% of the "problems" with BMWs are serious engine problems, and 60% of the Toyota "problems" are, say, hatch rattles, it's obvious that J.D. Power's "long-term reliability ratings" don't mean much."

I agree with you on this.

What's the deal with everybody saying "too bad it isn't a skyline?" The Nissan Skyline in Japan is the Infinity G35 here. No, it's not a GT-R, but it is still a skyline.

These are pics of the old GT-R concept. The "new" skyline is out in japan already...there is no GT-R though.
what JD power doesnt tell you is that some people, when they buy a certain brand, are able to tolerate more and find less reason to complain. it doesnt have a psychological column...for example buyer X buys a toyota, thinking super reliable brand. any tiny problem and its back to the dealership or complain. buyer Z buys an infiniti, reliable yes but not following the same long developed reputation as toyota, a problem very small may be overlooked. its rather difficult to explain.

i agree that infiniti has developed a stronger reputation along with nissan, but i pretty much despise JD power ratings.. i filled it out myself on my 2002 Si, but only for the money they gave me. its somewhat, not entirely, impossible to judge the future by past performances in the auto industry. how a 2002 civic performed, could be entirely different following 3 years of development and evolution
wow, nice! That's a huge upgrade in cars, so congrats!

The "new" skyline in Japan is the G35 in the US.

I should damn well hope so. See: average price of an Infinit vs. average price of a Toyota.

Hey there, not to burst you bubble, although it does seem like your bragging a bit anyway, but I'm not envious at all. This is a TC forum, everyone is here because they like the car and/or own it. Most people didn't buy the TC for its performance capabilities or its aftermarket parts...they bought it because its a nice, affordable compact with plenty of standard features, and its made by Toyota. First of all, theres no comparison between a TC and an Infiniti!!!! Its a luxary car! Not a moderately priced compact!! I'm damn glad I spent half as much on my car as you did on yours, they both get from point A to B and I still have 10 g's leftover! Maybe if I was rich and spoiled I'd buy an Infiniti too...but dont flame on people for buying an economic and affordable nice car, maybe you just couldn't get the hang of driving it??? But unlike yuppie car owners who buy a new luxury car every year, TC owners are generally younger buyers with less money looking for a good deal for the money, not rich luxury car buyers. No one ever said the TC is better than the G35, definitely more economic though. And plus 350s and g35s are ALL OVER THE ROAD-so played out man. And besides...Toyota kicks Nissan a$$

who are you talking to?? I never flamed the TC, I actually liked it and said that in my previous posts. I realize they are not the same car, and no Im not rich and spoiled, I work hard to pay for the car and my parents did not help me at all if thats what youre thinking. Maybe you should read my posts more closely before trying to flame me.
yea, lol, where did THAT come from. he never said anything bad about the tC. but, if you ask anyone on these forums, maybe with the exception of you, they would all get a g35 if they could afford it.

Don't assume. Many people like G35s, but I am not one of them.
I can afford one. I don't want one. Thanks anyway.
