I plan to get the TRD supercharger and pair it off with the pulley(s?) that NST are making for the tC supercharger. Factory backed, and should put out sufficient power--at least for me.

I've found that the seats in the tC aren't as comfortable as the 90 Celica I drove for 10 years. That car fit me like a glove. I find it more difficult to get comfortable in the tC, but I'm still working on fine tuning the adjustments. Seems like little changes can make a big difference.

Good luck finding another ride. Personally, I'd go for the RSX.

Hey, no problem, dude,

The SCION is not a car for everyone. I just got mine (it's for my wife) a couple days ago and I can say one thing that it's far less comfy than my Avalon. It's much noisier and bumpier. I'm don't mind, though, it's just that I have gotten used to the smooth Avalon ride in the past 2.5+ years.

I used to drive harsher cars like 82 'vette, 87 Jeep Wranger. Man, those were not too comfy but I got used to them. The 'vette had super long nose that it was a pain to get out onto the main road since you could not see if cars were coming !!! The suspension was super hard it made this SCION feels like a Caddi !!! It sat very low, etc. But I got used to it and I loved to drive it.

My taste has changed and I used to enjoy a sport sedan like the Saab 9000 Turbo. Then I went to a 1999 Acord V6 coupe. Now I feel that I like a nice comfy and quiet car so I bought the Avalon. I don't know what I will buy next !

So, may be the SCION is not for you, no biggie. I like my SCION but for now think I will give my Avalon a slight edge.

You are definitely right about the Avalon being more comfortable than the tC -- my dad had a 2001 Avalon for a few years, and the tC is not even in the same league as far as comfort. The Avalon is almost certainly the most comfortable car I've ever been in.

Just sold my 2004 Yamaha R6 streetbike. I've gone plenty fast...all speeding does is get you in trouble. ie. 4-80 mph in a 70 mph tickets. F that

yeah, BUT IT'S AN AVALON! it's meant entirely for luxury and comfort. it's not meant to be sporty. the TC is one of the best combinations of sport, comfort, and gas effiency, i have ever seen. I LOVE MY TC!

Don't get me wrong, I love the tC.
It's just that I currently my taste of cars has changed and that I currently prefer a nice comfy ride. Still, I think the tC is fun to drive. Probably a lot more fun than my '99 Accord V6 Coupe. It's more responsive than my Avalon and I can push it (not that I will do it that often
).

I think that the tC will be a great car to drive when I want a little more excitement which my Avalon lacks.

I thought about the Ion, Colbolt, and srt-4 but I think the tC will last longer. I havn't had a comfort prob on either of the trips I took my tC on, but everyones built a little dif. I saw Sparks Toyota had the price on the TRD supercharger on thier site. A 25% increase in power sounds good sould put it on par with the Ion or better. Just based on the engine size 2.0 VS. 2.4 Have had some paint probs. with my tC, sould find out what the Toy peps will do about it this week.
