I know this sounds stupid, but does anyone recommend any particular brand of snow brush/ice scrapper? I have the ones I used from last year when I had a car I didn't care about. But the thing has really stiff brissels and they'd probably scratch my paint and leave marks. As for the ice-scrapper, i dont know what kind of damage it can do to the windows. But does anyone have any suggestions?

A trick I used when I lived where it was cold was to put a piece of cardboard or plastic over the windshield. Then in the morning, you just pull it off and you're ready to go.

Unless it rains/melts a little then the cardboard will be stuck to your windshield.

Don't use any sort of brush on your car, you take the chance of pulling any debris across the surface, a mitt or a glove will work the best.
