PrecisionMuffler.com has the intake you want for a your tC. In stock and ready to ship out the Weapon-R short ram Secret Weapon intake.

The Secret Weapon Intake was designed, to increase air intake volume to the engine. The concept is to create two different air velocity profiles, one traveling at higher speeds than the other. This technology increases air volume and speed to the engine, which naturally feeds the engine 3x more air than the conventional air intake system. The intake pipe is bent out of high quality 6061 Aluminum on our Automated CNC mendrel bender. Polished to a high show quality finish. The SW1 Air filter features a tuned velocity stack to increase velocity and decrease turbulence. Only Comes In Polished. 1 Million Mile Limited Warranty Open pore high density re-usable foam

$275.00 available at the Scion Central

Dude, who wrote that copy? I don't have anything to add (good or bad) about the intake, but those claims are pretty over the top. I'm sure it's at least as good as anything else out there, but...oh well, I'll just let you sell product.

Every intake sold by weapon-r is dyno tested at modacar, a company that a lot of people use for street or race. Check it out at www.Weapon-R.com I even dyno tested my car at modacar before I even knew that weapon-r went there too. They wouldn't push their product unless they would test everything out.

Three times the air the competiton delivers? A tuned velocity stack that increases velocity? No velocity stack increases velocity, they're called that because they maintain velocity, not increase it. It's really just an air straightener, but the guy writing the copy wants to use a term coined in the 60's with Hillborn's practically undriveable fuel injection.

I have no issues with the product, and I'm sure it works just fine, but the marketing guys really tried to swat the ball out of the park on this one. I'm just laughing at the copy, not the product.

Not sure it was the "marketing guys" work - most marketing people at least proofread their stuff.

Wasn't it Weapon-R who claimed 13whp gain on their intake and called people "ignorant" because they did not buy the "velocity technology"?

Weapon-R also has a rather amusing filter comparison posted on the site:

Nothing against you, Stylis, but some things just bother me.

Wow, so since no one has the intake for their tC. Judgments are already flying, I didn't realize that there was going to be a huge discusion over little discription details. If you have questions, please post them and I will have the people themselves from Weapon-R answer the questions.

Post the questions and they will be answered.
I am here to help you guys, not cloud up your perception of products.

I have the intake, love it, though I haven't put it on a dyno, so I don't have #'s or charts... I got mine from another sponsor but w/ the Magnaflow exhaust from Stylis, I'm lovin' my car even more!

Just cruisin', takin' it easy, you hardly know the intakes there until you really get on it... Damon knows what I'm talkin' about
