After two hit events at Raceway Park, NJ in 2004, Scion VIP is ready to invade Hot Import Nights Boston with an army of 30 Scions!

Can the moderator or admin please make a sticky out of this. If there are any problems with this posting, please e-mail me at a temporary address [email protected] until I get an official e-mail address up dedicated to the ScionVIP event. Thank you.

Dear fellow Scion owners and fans,

There have been a few questions regarding the announcement of winners. We're
sorry if we've been unclear about any of the details. We'll try to keep
everybody updated as much as possible. Here are a few clarifications and
updates.

Winners will be announced in waves so that the greatest number of Scion
owners has a chance to win.

There are no rules against entering both giveaways. The two events are being
sponsored by different Scion regions and winners will be chosen by two
different groups of people. In the event that you are chosen to win for both
events, please make sure that you are able to attend both as a courtesy to
your fellow Scion owners.

Boston VIP
Scion VIP @ Boston HIN winners will be required to roll-in on Friday (with
everybody else). We will try to roll-in as a group as much as possible since
we are parking together in a space reserved for 30 cars. The Saturday show
hours have not yet been posted, however HIN usually opens at 5PM and shuts
down at 12AM. If you've never been to an HIN, please don't be afraid to
email us for a rundown ([email protected]). HIN is a car show, so you
might be inclined to have your ride nice and clean for presentation. If
you've never entered a car show before, don't worry - we're just there to
have a good time together as a group.

What if I don't win, can I still go to Boston HIN?
If you don't win a Scion VIP package and are still going to attend the
Boston HIN event on your own, please feel free to stop by and hang out with
us. Tickets may be purchased in advance if you are a spectator and you must
register your car in advance as well if you want to enter your Scion on your
own. Tickets and registration info are at hotimportnights.com. However,
please be aware that you may not be able to park with us, depending on the
situation at the time of roll-in.

Englishtown VIP
Scion VIP @ Englishtown winners will be asked to show up at Englishtown
Raceway Park between the hours of 9 and 10AM on Sunday, May 1. There will be
signage that will direct you to a section reserved for Scion VIP. The VIP
event activities run from 9AM-5PM (approximately), but you are welcome to
leave earlier or stay later at Englishtown.

What if I don't win, can I still go to the Englishtown VIP?
If you don't win a Scion VIP package and are still going to attend the
Englishtown event on your own, please feel free to stop by and hang out with
us. Tickets may be purchased in advance if you are a spectator and you must
register your car in advance as well if you want to enter your Scion on your
own (tickets and registration at hotimportnights.com). You may or may not be
able to park your Scion at the VIP section (and only if you buy a car show
entry - spectator parking is in a different area), depending on the amount
of room available at the time you roll-in. Spectator and car show fee info
are at www.racewaypark.com.

The first wave of winners will be announced on April 11, 2005, with
subsequent waves coming each following week. We will try to give long
distance contenders first consideration.

Winners will receive notification via email and will also be posted on the
ScionVIP.com website.

If you have any question as to if your entry was received, please email us
at [email protected].

Thanks for your support of Scion VIP events!

Best,

Scion VIP Event Team

After completing the application for entering the contest, you will be in the database. There is no email confirmation sent out for your entry.

If you win the VIP package, you will be contacted either by email or phone.

GOOD LUCK PEOPLE!

Information for those interested in purchasing your own entry HIN Boston or
Englishtown NHRA Sport Compact Spring Nationals.

HIN - Tickets at the door are also $25, BUT be prepared for long lines.
Advance purchase tickets can be picked up in the Will Call lines, which are
usually much shorter. Kids 6 and under are free. Those looking to enter
their Scion into the HIN competition independently will have to purchase a
$55 + service fee registration at www.hotimportnights.com . HIN does not
sell car show registrations at the door and participants are required to
roll-in their vehicles on the Friday (leave overnight) before the Saturday
show. Roll-in will be controlled by HIN, parking next to the Scion VIP area
will be dependent upon the circumstances and at the discretion of HIN
officials.

Official Boston HIN flyer is available for viewing here.
http://www.hotimportnights.com/flyers_show.asp?id=87

Englishtown - spectator admission for Sunday only is $20. Kids 6-12 are $5.
Kids under 6 are free. Car show entry is $35 (includes admission for driver)
and is necessary if you want to drive your Scion into the participant areas
(including Scion VIP area) - spectator parking is in an isolated lot.
(Please note that buying a Car Show ticket does not ensure that you will be
able to park in the Scion VIP area - space will be limited in the Scion VIP
area.

There are also options for those looking to enter their Scion into drag
racing or audio competitions - these are not a part of the Scion VIP
package.

More Englishtown NHRA Sport Compact Spring Nationals info can be found here.

We are currently negotiating for a larger VIP area at Englishtown. More
updates soon.

The Boston event has selected 15 winners in their first wave which is also up.

You can find the winners list at www.scionvip.com on the main page. Scroll down and see if your name is there.

Congratulations to the winners and good luck to those that have not been chosen yet.

UPDATE:

65 Etown winners have been announced
30 Boston winners have been announced

Go to www.scionvip.com for more information and the list of names. Stay tuned for the last wave for Etown! Good luck and see you there!

(Those who won entry for the Boston VIP event and recieved an email with information for E-town, we apologize for the inconvience. There was a programming error and we are resending the email to all winners with the correct information for Boston VIP. We apologize again.

There were no errors in the E-town winner invites, so if you also won VIP for that event, don't worry, you're still in.)
