Hi guys. Some of you may know me from the other boards. I'm Blue Batmobile, and I make Overlays for various cars, now including the Scion tC
. I just started my tC Gallery with my first Overlay. I plan on doing alot more as long as there is interest in my work from you guys. Check out my Gallery at: www.Bluebatmobile.com.

Well, finally started my tC Overlay Gallery. Here's the first Overlay that I'm doing. It's a Smoke Overlay that goes over the eyelid of the headlamp. What I like about it is that it tones it down a bit. Makes the headlight housing look smoked overall. To complete the look, I will be doing a sidemarker Overlay in the next few days. More pics coming soon! Enjoy !

If by sidemarker you mean the turn signals in the sideview mirrors, then I'll definitely be interested in the look of that.

Can you tell me a bit about application of the overlays and expected durability?
Hey, thanks for stopping by... I really like your work

All my Overlays are made from 7 Year High Performance Vinyl. Extremely durable and lasts a long time with no fading or peeling. All Overlays mount to the outside surface. There is no need to remove anything to apply them correctly. Overlays can be removed if desired with no residue left behind. Application is Peel and Stick! All kits come with instructions.

Hi Andy! Good to see some goodies being made for the tC.

hey blue, are u gonna make anything for the taillights.

also, are u located in socal?
What does everyone thinks about smth like that:

Andy, how transparent is black vinyl? will it still allow turnsignals to be visible?

I like that a lot... it makes the tC look kinda agressive... almost mean... instead of cute.
The only thing I'm thinking about is that it will only work well with the BSP or FM. Hmm... but definitely interesting concept.

Since you have a BSP it should make you pretty happy

BSP should be the easiest color to match, but Andy has always been amazing in matching color of the vinyl he sold to the factory paint, so it should be good.

Yeah, it give the car the "mean ass" look - as in "agressive butt"

I would definitely buy a set of these if he could make some to match the flint mica...
ditto. i would get those tails for FM in the blink of an eye.
Ok, now that we have created a product idea and a target market, where is Andy?

Do you have any pics of the 3rd brake light smooked on a black cherry, and would it be possible to color match overlays to the color of the car

hey bat do you have smoke kits for the whole headlight and taillight on the tC?? Mine is Flint so I think smoked headlights and tails would look tight.
