Nice article. One thing, though:

What?

Seriously, how many of you had to read the manual to figure out how to operate the heating and A/C?? I can't see how it could be more intuitive.
hmm i cant seem to follow the link...
Not me, the AC controls are pretty user friendly.

and the model's base price is only going up $200 when the very similar 2006 tC comes out this fall[/b]
got mines already, THANE PETERSON.

I like the sound system, although I would change the volume buttons to a turn knob.[/b]
it has been done on the '06, SALLY

AC controls are fine. didn't really need to read up on anything to figure what buttons were for.
He also says there's a lack of headroom. I'm 6'3" and have no complaints about it. Very praising write up, however.

Agreed. Before I drove the car home the first time, the salesman took a minute and explained how to use the AC/heat controls.
lol wow, thats all i have to say..WOW! iam 6'2 230 pounds, and there is STILL more room for me to gain weight and height lol haha, i love this car!
overall, i think this is just like every other review of the car out there. good value, little headroom, fun to drive, cool styling, road noise, good to decent gas milage etc. well it works for me since i bought the car
i think these writers that complain about head room dont know that the seat raises and lowers.... probably the person that dove it before them was short, and pumped it up.... he didn't know how to turn on the AC... he probably didn't know how to lower the seat
Did anyone else notice that they said, "It's rated at 29 mpg in the city and 22 on the highway." for some reason that doesn't sound right... but I was a good article.
he argues head room is bad. obviosuly he has not learned how to lower the seat like i just did 6 days after buying it.

he also says there's road noise. it seems hella quiet to me, but maybe that's because i've been driving an old 96 civic with a loud exhaust before this.
"resolutely nerdy-looking xB -- " i second that lol
oh maybe they edited the story later. i was confused reading that comment on the article where they said the 22 and 29 mpg were backwards. cuz when i read it, it said "It's rated at 22 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway, and the..."
yeah they fixed it, and also the reviewer did know how to raise and lower the seat. he talks about it at the bottom. check the link again and read that user submited review section.
This seems wrong to me:

"The Bad Road noise, lack of headroom"

When I test drove the TC the first thing that struck me was that it was pretty quiet! What is he playing at? Does every think that assessment is correct?
I thought the head room was fine in the front but the back was just a little low... all you have to do is put the back seat back a little and its good. For road noise, it didn't seem any different then any other car...

Maybe the reviewer is a giant with huge ears, and big fingers that can't seem to locate the AC/heat buttons accurately.

Other than that, I can't seem to figure out the reasoning for the negative remarks. Just, weird. Headroom might be a problem if he brings the seat to its highest setting. But he can always lower them.

I mean, come on, it says AC on one of those buttons. Maybe a flashing AC button with voices going "push me, push me, I am AC button, PUSH ME!!!" will work for him.
I don't necessarily agree with the reviewer on many of his points (seating is perfectly fine for me), but my dad's '05 Legacy 2.5 GT is way quieter than my tC at highway speeds.
