My rear window adhesive is dried and cracking on my 2005 tc. Does anyone know of any video's, blogs or advice on how to remove the window and put new adhesive on?

From other Scion Communities recommends, Don't do it yourself. 1. the only way to take off the window is by a special cutting tool to cut the rubber adhesive to take out the window. 2. the special adhesive is a Urethane Rubber to seal the window that uses a calking gun. If you're talking cosmetic just get a tube of black silicone and fill the cracks. Be sure to protect the window with removable masking tape so you don't get any on your window. If it's leaking, then you can try the filling the cracks, but if it doesn't work then best to have a professional do it. Maybe $100 - $150... guessing.

Thank you, we will try that first. It's not leaking yet so filling the cracks makes sense.
