Real Dyno Numbers and times

2828 Views 14 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  lo bux racer
I know there are several people that have run their cars on Dynos. Unless they are both run on the same dyno on the same day, the results might be skewed between MT and AT, but I think it should be close enough to tell the difference. Does anyone have links to actual dyno results from both autos and manuals? Everyone seems to post 'subjective results' but I'm looking for hard numbers to see the actual difference between the two. I test drove the AT and was impressed with the pull. I'm also curious about 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

I'd like to see about compiling the info and have it added to the information section.

i ran my manual tC today actually. i got hp, torque, air/fuel ration, and i also did a simulated 1/4 mile. on a stock manual tC, i got 130.09 hp, 140.73 ft/lbs of torque, my air/fuel ratio was 17.05. and my 1/4 mile was screwed up. the dyno was at a show today, so naturally, my tires were were plastered with wheel shine so when i started, i was skippin on 1st and 2nd gear. but i got 16.954 @ 83.296mph. it should have been better, but ill do it again at the show next week. hope this helps. if u want copies of the dyno sheets, lemme know.

P.S. - I got 1st today in the Imports Class!!

Only mods are TRD shocks/springs and rear sway. Not to mention the TWM short shifter.
Some of you Sacto guys should get together and run a couple street races between manual and auto.

Vid1: Chase car behind both cars
Vid2: MT car watching AT car
Vid3: AT car watching MT car

That would probably answer a lot of questions regarding MT vs AT.
From a dead stop or from a roll? I have all the cars necessary, I don't have the video capability.

Yes.

In fact, I hoped you would respond to this.

Surely someone in the Sacto area has a video camera with a firewire connector that will allow them to upload it to their computer? Besides, you'll need another tC as a chase car.
I have a Supra for a chase car. I doubt I'll have any issues keeping up.
you will if i slash your tires.
Which ones? The Supra's or the 5 speed tC?
