I raced a nissan 240 tonight lost first race i had a bad launch second race i pulled on him by about my car length near the end third time i lost 4th time i won. so i have come to the conclusion that the cars are almost equal and that it is a drivers race period end of story.

I thought the 240 did 0-60 times in the low 8's? That shouldn't be a drivers race at all. If you get decent launches and minimum wheel spin while shifting, you shouldn't have lost.

It isnt an all atock 240 and i am also running on the stock Potenzas Wich suck asssss so thats why it is a drivers race.
Good stuff.
Ah.. sorry :/

Yeah, then it sounds like more of a drivers skill race. Nice job then

yeah well if theyre good drivers its a drivers race but stock 240's depends on what models...Was it the 140 hp version or the 155 hp version.....
155 Hp one that one can hawl some ass iam telling you it has some balls.

.450 is the reaction time of me leaving the line after the light turns green it was on a 400 tree and that meaning that .450 is almost perfect timing to the green light thats why it is so good
ask some people that know alot about drag racing they might be able to break it down better for you. but yea that is a good number.

oh an also if i ran a .019 i would have red lighted the tree so thats a nother reason why it is good anything faster then .400 would be a redlight and i would have been DQ. hope that helps.
Where were you running a Pro tree?
I doubt he was. Im pretty sure that a scion at a pro track owuld just get blown away by big block exhaust. My buddy used to consistently run .42-.44 in his cutlass and that took amazing talent and years. .45 is very good.
the track i was racing at this time wasnt a pro track but i have been to the pro track at darlington when they have a test/tune and also the importnight wich my friends and I went to and yes the big blocks were at both but they were still impressed with what the scion had to do i even got a couple of complements from some dude with the fastest mustang that i had ever seen. but yea thanx for the complement on the .45 reaction time.
Sac Raceway is a Pro track, but they run a sportsman tree unless it's a Pro event. Sportsman tree is 0.600 sec.
Yea at darlington they run a .500 tree and at this track they run a .400 tree wich is crazy fast.
did you know my parents actually wanted to get me a 240 instead of my tC? wooo, wouldnt that have been bad.
