This isn’t a problem or anything; I’m just curious more than anything.

I just got my new manual tC yesterday, I noticed that after I shift (in any gear) and step on the gas, there is a winding sound (almost sounds like a turbo, which I know its not), it’s almost like a pissst sound. Just curious if anybody else noticed this and knows what it is?

Btw, I love this car, I never had a chance to test drive it because I am away at school, so I had no idea what I was getting into. But I have been nothing but impressed with the car. I just can’t wait till I put some miles on it so I can really hit it.

Thanks,
Peace

I'm not sure about this one, so anybody more savvy (Lance) should feel free to correct me. I think it's the sound of the air being sucked into the aribox as you begin to accelerate. I actually like the sound.
